Wat is wietolie?
Wietolie is een olie waarin plantenstoffen uit de hennep- of cannabisplant zijn opgelost, zoals CBD. De stoffen worden uit de plant gehaald en gemengd met een draagolie, bijvoorbeeld olijfolie of hennepzaadolie.
Is wietolie hetzelfde als CBD-olie?
Niet altijd. Wietolie is een brede verzamelnaam, terwijl CBD-olie specifiek gericht is op cannabidiol met een THC-gehalte onder de wettelijke grens. De legale wietolie die je in webshops koopt is vrijwel altijd CBD-olie.
Is wietolie legaal in Nederland?
Wietolie op basis van CBD mag verkocht worden zolang het THC-gehalte onder de wettelijke grens blijft. De producten zijn bestemd voor volwassenen vanaf 18 jaar.
Waaraan herken ik goede wietolie?
Aan een onafhankelijk laboratoriumrapport (COA), een duidelijk vermeld percentage, de genoemde draagolie en een donkere verpakking die de olie tegen licht beschermt.
Hoe bewaar ik wietolie?
Bewaar wietolie koel, droog en donker, met de dop goed gesloten. Licht en warmte laten de kwaliteit sneller achteruitgaan.
