Golden Teacher Growkit

The Golden Teacher is one of the best-known mushrooms within the Psilocybe family. In the cultivation world this variety is known for its robust growth and characteristic golden cap. Each Growkit contains everything needed to grow high-quality mushrooms yourself: just add water and follow the simple steps. The kits are available in three sizes, 250 cc, 1200 cc and 2100 cc, so that both beginner and experienced growers have a suitable choice.

Instructions (in brief)

1. Wash your hands and clean the outside of the growkit.
2. Fill with lukewarm water (20 °C), place the lid on and let it soak for 5 minutes, no longer than 1 hour.
3. Pour off the water and let it drain for 10 seconds.
4. Place the kit in the grow bag with 200 to 250 ml of lukewarm water and close it with the paperclips.
5. Put the growkit in a room of 20 to 25 °C, not in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
6. Leave the bag closed until the first pinheads are visible (after 10 to 20 days).
7. Once pinheads appear: air for a few minutes daily and mist lightly.
8. Harvest just before the veils under the cap detach, by carefully twisting the mushroom left and right.
9. Remove all remnants completely for a new flush.

Storage advice

• Store cool, between 2 and 4 °C.
• Limited shelf life outside the fridge.
